Narcisse Morin , Well Known Aylmer Man Dies , Narcisse Morin, well - known Aylmer resident, lumberman and dam-builder died on Saturday afternoon following an ' illness which lasted a month. He was in his 81st year. . ' Mr. Morin was born In Aylmer, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Morin. a pioneer family of that district and resided there most of his life. He was employed as a foreman for more than 80 years in the lumber camps of J. B. Fraser Lumber Company and John Lumsden and was an expert dam builder. During his life he built several of these structures on the Ottawa river and its tributaries. This trade he learned when in Wisconsin In his youth. He was married to the former Alice Leahey. Besides ' his wife he leaves to mourn, two sons, Michael, of Chapeau, Que., and Alex of Beauharnois, as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 7.43 a.m. from the parlors of McEvoy Brothers, 233 Kent street aty Nepean, for requiem high mass at St. Patrick's Church at eight o'clock. Interment will be in St Paul's cemetery. Aylmer.
